What to know before choosing AFTEL as your Retail Service Provider.

Is AFTEL a Redtrain Retail Service Provider?

AFTEL buys wholesale network capacity from Redtrain and uses it to deliver retail internet plans to supported Redtrain fibre addresses. Your plan, billing and customer support are provided by AFTEL.

Is Redtrain the same as nbn?

No. Redtrain is a separate open-access fibre network. A premises connected to Redtrain needs an internet plan from a Retail Service Provider that supports the Redtrain network.

Can I switch my Redtrain internet to AFTEL?

If AFTEL can service your exact address, you can choose an eligible AFTEL plan. Check your address first to see the plans currently available at your premises.

Could a new-development connection charge apply?

Some new developments may have a one-time carrier connection charge. If a charge applies to your premises, it will be confirmed before your AFTEL order proceeds.

Do I need a new router?

You need a compatible router. You can bring your own or choose a preconfigured AFTEL router while ordering.

Is every address in a listed suburb covered?

No. Suburb and site listings are a guide only. Your exact service address must be checked before you choose a plan.

What if my building or estate is not listed?
